Why Roy Does it

Roy's architectural path is purpose-driven. While he has worked across various building types, he's deeply committed to serving social housing and public safety clients, recognizing the societal importance often overlooked in the past by the architectural profession.

As a procedural thinker, Roy prioritizes operational functionality in his projects. His work hinges on close collaboration with clients to meet their specific needs. Collaboration and communication are the driving forces behind Roy's approach, shaping impactful spaces within the community.

Giving

To fulfill our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, every member of the Unity team has chosen an organization that aligns with their personal values and purpose. Unity has made a donation on behalf of each team member to their chosen organization.

Why Roy chose: Blue Door

“I support Blue Door Support Services, York Region's largest emergency housing provider, because of their critical, life-saving services to our community's most vulnerable for over 40 years. With three emergency housing sites and three transitional housing programs, they ensure everyone has the right to safe, affordable, dignified, and inclusive housing. Without them, many individuals and families in the Region would be without these basic needs. By expanding their vital housing, health, and employment programs, they are making a real difference in people's lives. I'm proud to support their important initiatives and look forward to their continued positive impact.”
