This project begins to address the requirements of the provincial Places-to-Grow Act that mandates densification in the urban core area of Ontario cities. Over time, cities must densify to meet population growth. As such, these townhome concepts begin to rethink medium density growth in an existing residential fabric and streetscape. These four semi-detached homes are designed to take advantage of the views across Crescent Street to Little Lake in Peterborough. The stepping of the homes provides scale and materials have been chosen for their texture. Primary living areas access two large patios and face the lake and will be occupied in Spring 2020.
