Quinte Humane Society

A feasibility study for a new 16,250 sq.ft. humane society and clinic in Belleville. This design grouped dogs into pods of 4 and cats into pods of 8 based on staffing and operations. The design for this facility was reviewed and supported by Dr. Elizabeth Berliner, DVM and Director of Shelter Medicine at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Exterior of humane society. Cars and a school bus are parked in the parking lots while individuals walk towards the entry and walk with their animals.
A mother and two children kneel on the floor to pet a puppy. A gentleman stands at a welcome desk where a man and women help him. There is a hexagon patter on the ceiling, a smaller hexagon patter is tiled on the wall behind the desk.
