Why Leanne chose: SeaLegacy
"I have chosen to support SeaLegacy because of its commitment to highlighting ocean conservation solutions that benefit biodiversity, humanity, and the climate. Healthy marine ecosystems are vital in regulating the Earth’s climate by absorbing heat and carbon dioxide, supporting biodiversity, and providing resilience against climate impacts. Oceans also produce over half of the world’s oxygen and play a key role in the global water cycle, influencing rainfall and freshwater resources. Protecting our oceans is essential for sustaining life on Earth and ensuring climate stability."
