The 107-suite residence is anchored by a three-storey atrium with floor-to-ceiling glazing and formal shade arcade that brings in natural light.  In addition to the atrium, the facility contains a therapeutic salt-water aquafit pool, a spa, hair salon, cinema, pub, and fireside lounge.  Canterbury Gardens features a three-storey main building, behind which are located separate townhouse blocks with bungalow-style homes for more independent living. The buildings were constructed entirely from recycled pre-engineered and factory assembled light-gauge steel wall and floor panel framing.
